Spencer's Building an E-Commerce Brand in Arkansas
Good morning,
We just wrapped the very first call of the very first AI cohort. I want to tell you what happened on it, because it's a cleaner answer to "what is this, really?" than anything I could pitch you.
The member on the call had never used AI for anything beyond opening ChatGPT once and thinking, "huh — what is this?" That was the extent of it. No code, no tools, no terminal, none of it.
By the end of one call, he had:
- His own AI agent set up — on his computer and on his phone.
- A real website for his new outdoor brand, running live on his machine, that he designed by talking to it. He'd say what he liked and didn't like, and the site changed in front of him.
- A plan to point that same agent at competitor research and supplier hunting — work it can do while he's off doing something else.
No template. No drag-and-drop builder. He described what he wanted in plain English and watched it get built.
What he said about it
Two things he said on the call stuck with me, because they're the entire point of this thing:
"This is really my first time dipping my toes in AI — other than just being like, 'ChatGPT, what is this?' … I'm really liking that it's simple. It's in-depth enough that I know what I don't know about it yet."
"There's another layer past that, but right now it's at the point where it's like — okay, I can see how I can learn the rest of it. It doesn't feel overwhelming to look at or use."
That's the bar. Not "I memorized the right prompts." Not "I watched ten hours of videos." Just: I can see the path now, and it doesn't feel out of reach.
Why I'm telling you this
Because this is what the cohort actually is. It is not a video library. It is four weeks of building real things — a website, a content and social system, your own AI agent — on your actual business, with me on the call while you do it.
The first cohort is small and already underway. I'm keeping every group small on purpose, so I can work this closely with each person. The next one is open for applications now.
If you've been on the sidelines thinking you missed the window, or that you have to be technical first — you don't. Spencer wasn't. He just started.
Tell me what you'd want to build and apply here: https://lvluplocal.com/apply
Or just reply to this email with the word cohort and I'll make sure you have what you need.
Best,
Tal
P.S. He started the call not even sure whether he'd drop-ship his merch or print it himself. The point was never to have it all figured out. The point is to start moving while it's all still moving.
